It has come to our attention that very little information is available to serious vet students. We believe that students will benefit greatly from an organization that provides accurate information regarding entrance requirements, exams, and deadlines, as well as appropriate and recommended course work.
This organization will give you the opportunity to hear guest speakers from various professionals and DVMs working in our community who can offer advice, experience, and inspiration.
This organization will be actively involved in the community; doing work with local animal shelters and rescue/rehabilitation centers. Admission to vet school is a competitive process- good grades and clinical work in private veterinary practices will not be enough to secure your spot in vet school. This organization will give you the opportunity to show leadership and commitment to your school, community, and profession. You can gain invaluable experience with animals that will not only be fulfilling, but could also be the deciding factor for your acceptance into a veterinary school.
