Trip to UGA's College of Veterinary Medicine

We had a wonderful trip to UGA in order to tour their College for Veterinary Medicine. We were able to speak with a representative from the Admissions office who told us how to apply, what we needed, and also gave us tips for creating a wonderful application. We then met a current student of the College of Veterinary Medicine and he gave us a tour of the campus and facilities within the College of Veterinary Medicine. It was a wonderful experience though unfortuantely we could only take the 12 most active members, including officers, with us on the trip.

General Meeting

This is the first meeting of the Spring 2010 semester. We will be discussing future events/activities that PVMA can do. Ayamo Oben, President of AMSA, will also be present to talk about an opportunity to take a practice GRE test with Kaplan. Membership dues of $15 will be due at this meeting as well as the Spring 2010 Membership Form that is located on this website. Please fill it out and bring it with you to the meeting with your dues.

You will also be able to pick up your PVMA T-Shirts once you pay your membership dues. We can also order more T-Shirts if we do not have one in your size.

This is the last meeting of the Spring 2010 semester. We will be discussing details for our upcoming trip to the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve, our bake sale fundraiser, and planning a trip to Auburn's vet med school this summer.
